This year we are organizing a Data Compression and Combinatorial Algorithms Workshop (CCA 2008), which will be held on July 8 at the Caesarea Edmond Benjamin de Rothschild Foundation Institute, University of Haifa, Israel. The workshop is organized by the Department of Computer Science, Ashkelon Academic College and the Caesarea Edmond Benjamin de Rothschild Foundation Institute, University of Haifa. The workshop will include invited and contributed talks.

Scope

The workshop has two tracks:

1) Data Compression

2) Combinatorial Algorithms

Submission

Submissions for contributed talks for the workshop are invited.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts focusing on topics that are of relevance to the workshop. Preference will be given to unpublished or recently published work. No special format is required except for a length limitation of 10 pages in the Data Compression track and 3 pages in the Combinatorial Algorithms track. Note that this should not prevent the simultaneous or subsequent submission of contributed papers to other workshops, conferences or journals.

There are no registration fees. However, to ensure your participation and our preparation please register by July 1, 2008.
